Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CDL Dump Truck Driver (milling and paving experience a plus) to join our team at Charlestown Landscaping. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by safely and efficiently transporting materials using our dump trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
• Load and unload materials onto the truck bed using appropriate equipment
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation protocols
• Assist with general labor tasks on job sites, as needed

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 6 months proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role.  
• Knowledge of proper loading and unloading procedures for various materials
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, as required
